The Case 1840 and 1845C were built decades ago, and a lot of them are still out there working. Pushing manure on dairy farms. Cleaning corrals. Moving gravel, feed, firewood, and snow. But try to buy parts for the cab and you find out fast how the industry treats old iron. OEM dealers moved on years ago. Big-box accessory stores have never heard of your machine. Salvage yards might turn up a used glass door with cracked seals and no warranty, if you are lucky and patient.

So most 1845C owners just run open. Dust in the eyes all summer. Wind and freezing air all winter. Debris coming back at the operator with nothing in the way. Not because they want to, but because nobody would sell them a door.

These are two different doors, each CNC-cut to its own pattern. The 1845C door does not fit an 1840, and the 1840 door does not fit an 1845C. Order the one that matches the model on your machine.

CNC cutting is the reason a brand-new door can fit a decades-old machine accurately. Every door is machine-cut to the exact pattern for that model, so the panel does not need trimming or reshaping. Mounting steps and required tools vary by exact machine; some kits use existing factory points, while others require drilling and bolting where the included instructions direct.

Why Put $1,395 Into a 30-Year-Old Machine

Fair question. Here is the honest math.

A working 1845C earns its keep every week. Replacing it with a newer machine costs tens of thousands of dollars. A door costs $1,395. If the loader runs well and does the job, the door is the cheapest path to a safer, warmer, longer season by a wide margin.

What the door actually buys you:

• Safety. Shatterproof polycarbonate between you and whatever the job throws back. Protection superior to tempered glass, on a machine that has probably run open for years.
