Filing a skid steer door warranty claim with us is simple. Call or text (800) 781-8000, Mon-Fri 7am-4pm CST, and tell us what happened. If you are the original owner and your door failed or broke under normal conditions, you get one free replacement door for life. Hardware is covered for 3 months. The $150 shipping charge is not refunded. That is the whole process, and this guide walks through each part in plain terms.
What the warranty says, in plain English
Every door we build carries a limited lifetime warranty against door failure or breakage: one free replacement for life for the original owner, under normal conditions. Hardware is covered for 3 months.
No fine print tricks. If the door itself fails or breaks while you are working the machine the way machines get worked, you call us and we replace it once, free, no matter how many years you have owned it.
We keep the terms short on purpose. You have enough paperwork in your life already. If you want the full breakdown of what “limited lifetime” means at our shop, read what our warranty covers.

How to file a claim, step by step
Step 1. Call or text (800) 781-8000. We answer Mon-Fri 7am-4pm CST. Text works fine if you are in the field and cannot talk. There is no claim form buried three menus deep on a website. You deal with the people who built your door.
Step 2. Tell us what happened. Plain language is all we need. A limb punched through, the door cracked, a latch let go. Say what you were doing when it happened so we can sort out whether it falls under normal conditions.
Step 3. Have your order details handy. The warranty covers the original owner and purchaser, so we need to match you to the original order. The list below covers what helps.
Step 4. We walk you through the rest. Every claim is a little different, so we handle the next steps person to person on the call. No waiting weeks for an email from a warranty department.
What to have ready when you call
- The name the original order was placed under
- Your machine’s make and model (Bobcat M Series, CAT D Series, and so on)
- Roughly when you bought the door
- What failed or broke, and what the machine was doing at the time
- A few photos on your phone, if you can get them. Not required, but they help us see what you see and speed things up.
Who qualifies for a free replacement
Three things decide a claim, and they are the same three things printed in our terms.
You are the original owner and purchaser. The warranty stays with the person who bought the door. If you sell the machine, the warranty does not follow it. If you bought a used machine that already had one of our doors on it, the warranty does not carry over to you.
The door failed under normal conditions. Normal conditions means real work: brush cutting, snow removal, dirt work, daily farm and jobsite use. Our doors are built for that. If you are not sure whether your situation counts, call us and ask. It costs nothing to have the conversation.
It is your first claim. The warranty covers one free replacement for life. That is the point of building doors out of heavy-duty polycarbonate instead of tempered glass: it holds up to real work.
One more note. If your door shows up damaged from the truck, that is a shipping issue, not a warranty claim, and it gets handled differently. See what to do if your door arrives damaged.
What about hinges, latches, and hardware?
Hardware is covered for 3 months from purchase. That means the mounting and latching hardware that comes in your door kit.
Three months is plenty of time to get the door installed, worked hard, and shaken down. If a piece of hardware gives you trouble in that window, call or text (800) 781-8000 and we will sort it out. Accessories like our electric wiper kit have their own questions sometimes, and the same phone number covers those too.
Shipping on a replacement door
The replacement door itself is free on a qualifying claim. Shipping is the one cost that stays with you, because the $150 shipping charge is not refunded.
Doors ship UPS 3 Day Air at a $150 flat rate, typically 3 business days (not guaranteed). That flat rate covers a big, crated door moving fast across the country, so your machine is not sitting open-cab for weeks. For the full picture on transit times, read how long shipping takes.
Why we can back these doors for life
A limited lifetime warranty only makes sense if the product holds up to hard use. Ours are CNC-cut from heavy-duty polycarbonate and precision fit to your exact make and model, with no guesswork.
If you want proof instead of promises, watch the hammer test. Owner Leighton smashes a hammer into our 1/2” thick CAT D Series door on camera, unedited. That is the same construction philosophy behind every door we build, from the Bobcat M Series door on down the line.
Tempered glass shatters once and it is done. Polycarbonate takes the hit and keeps working. That is why we can put a limited lifetime warranty behind the door and keep the claim process down to one phone call.
