The Bobcat M Series door from Skid Steer Doors of North America is a shatterproof polycarbonate cab door built to fit every M Series loader: S450 through S850 wheeled machines, T450 through T870 track machines, and the A770. It costs $1,695 and arrives as a complete kit with the handle, locking latch, keys, hinges, weather seal gasket, mounting hardware, and printed instructions for your machine.
This is our best-selling door, and for good reason. Bobcat built a lot of M Series machines, and many of them left the dealer lot with an open cab. Here is everything you need to know before you order.
Which Bobcat machines are M Series?
Bobcat sold the M Series badge across most of its loader lineup, and these machines are still working hard on farms and job sites today. The model number is stamped on the serial plate, usually inside the cab or on the back of the machine.

Built for an exact fit, not a universal “close enough”
Every M Series door we ship is CNC-cut for this specific cab. The hinge positions, latch location, and edge profile are shaped for the correct panel fit. All supplied hardware is included, and the printed instructions identify the mounting steps for your machine.
That matters because universal doors and vinyl covers from big-box accessory stores make you do the fitting yourself. You end up drilling your own holes, fighting gaps at the edges, and living with a door that rattles. A precision-cut door goes on the way a factory part would.
The material is heavy-duty polycarbonate, the same family of material sold under the Lexan name. Whether the kit reuses a factory door frame depends on the exact machine configuration. If your loader never came with a factory door frame, call us before ordering. We build a door frame kit for some machines that left the factory without one, and we will confirm the right combination and mounting steps.
How long does the install take?
Read the printed instructions before setting aside time or gathering tools. Requirements vary with the exact machine setup and installer experience, and a helper can make positioning the door easier. Use only the mounting locations and steps identified for your machine.
Here is the short version of how it goes:
- Bolt the hinges to the door and the frame using the supplied hardware.
- Hang the door and check the swing.
- Mount the handle and locking latch, then adjust until it closes with a solid click.
- Seat the weather seal gasket so the cab closes up tight.

Why polycarbonate instead of glass?
Three reasons, and they are the same three reasons operators give us when they call back to order a second door for another machine.
Safety. Polycarbonate offers protection superior to tempered glass. When a chain, a rock, or a chunk of brush comes at the cab, you want a door that takes the hit. Our owner Leighton smashed a hammer into our 1/2 inch CAT D door on camera, unedited, to prove the point. The M Series door is built from the same heavy-duty polycarbonate family.
Comfort. A closed cab helps regulate temperature year round. That means heat stays in during a January snow push and dust stays out during a dry August. Operators who run early mornings and late nights feel the difference in the first week.

The Bobcat M Series complete door kit is $1,695. Our Bobcat doors run $1,395 to $1,695 depending on the series, and the M Series sits at the top of that range because it is our most in-demand fit.
Shipping is simple: UPS 3 Day Air, $150 flat, typically 3 business days (not guaranteed). We ship across the US and Canada. Doors are built to order, so call or text for the current lead time before your busy season starts.
Every door carries our limited lifetime warranty against door failure or breakage: one free replacement for life for the original owner, under normal conditions. Hardware is covered for 3 months. That is a straightforward promise, and it is one OEM dealers do not match on a glass door.
Add-ons worth putting in the same order

- Electric wiper kit ($229). Designed specifically for our doors and comes with everything needed to install it. If you push snow or work in the rain, get it now instead of squinting through a smeared door in December.
- Cab heater ($119). A compact ceramic heater and fan that hooks straight to your machine’s battery. With the door sealing the cab, a small heater goes a long way.
