Kubota SVL Door Guide: Swing-Out and Rollup Options

Need a door for your Kubota SVL or SSV? We build the Kubota SVL door in two styles: a full swing-out polycarbonate door and cab enclosure for $1595, and a rollup replacement door for machines that came with a factory overhead door. Every door is CNC-cut for your exact model, ships with the supplied hardware and printed instructions, and carries a limited lifetime warranty. We cover the SVL65 through the SVL97-3, plus the SSV65 and SSV75.

This guide walks through both door styles, every Kubota model we fit, what each option costs, and how to pick the right one for the way you work.

Kubota models we build doors for

Kubota’s SVL line is their compact track loader. The SSV line is their wheeled skid steer. We build doors for both, and each door is cut for the specific model you order, not a one-size blank you trim in the driveway.

SVL compact track loaders (swing-out door): SVL65, SVL65-2, SVL75, SVL75-2, SVL90, SVL90-2, SVL95, SVL95-2, SVL97, SVL97-2, SVL97-3.

SVL compact track loaders (rollup replacement door): SVL65, SVL65-2, SVL75, SVL75-2, SVL95, SVL95-2, SVL97, SVL97-2, SVL97-3.

SSV skid steers (swing-out door): SSV65, SSV75.

If your model is not on the list, do not give up on it. We build doors for machines nobody else covers. Call or text (800) 781-8000 and we will tell you straight whether we can fit it.

Swing-out or rollup? Pick by what your machine has now

The right choice comes down to one question: what is on the front of your cab today?

If your Kubota has an open cab with no front door, you want the swing-out door and enclosure. It closes in the cab so you get a sealed, comfortable workspace.

If your SVL came from the factory with an overhead rollup door and the glass is cracked, fogged, or gone, you want the rollup replacement. It takes the place of the factory door, but in shatterproof polycarbonate instead of glass.

The swing-out door: close in an open cab for $1595

The Kubota SVL swing-out door is our full door and cab enclosure for the SVL line. The SSV version covers the SSV65 and SSV75. Both are $1595.

This is the Original Shatterproof Polycarbonate Lexan Door, first to market. Each one is CNC-cut to match your model’s cab opening. That means it lands where it should, with no guesswork. You are not trimming or shimming a universal blank to make it work.

An enclosed cab changes your workday in three ways:

  • Safety. Polycarbonate offers protection superior to tempered glass. Brush, chain debris, and thrown rock hit the door, not you.
  • Comfort. The enclosure helps regulate cab temperature. That means real heat in January and less dust in August.
  • Value. A clean, enclosed cab gives your machine an immediate resale-value lift when it is time to trade or sell.

The rollup doors: replace broken factory glass

Kubota SVL machines with closed cabs use an overhead rollup front door. When that factory glass takes a hit from a grapple, a fence post, or flying debris, an OEM dealer replacement can get expensive fast, and you may wait on parts.

Our rollup replacement door is the direct answer. It is $795, cut from shatterproof polycarbonate, and made for the SVL65 through the SVL97-3.

Running a mulcher or clearing heavy brush all day? We also build a heavy-duty rollup option for SVL machines. It is not always listed on the site, so call or text (800) 781-8000 and we will set you up with the right one for your work.

One honest note on attachments: if you spend your hours in front of a forestry mulcher, tell us when you order. We will make sure you get the door built for that kind of abuse.

Why polycarbonate instead of glass

Tempered glass does one thing when something hits it hard enough: it fails, all at once, right in front of your face. Polycarbonate takes the hit and stays in the frame.

We do not ask you to take that on faith. Our owner, Leighton, smashed a hammer into our 1/2 inch CAT D series door on camera, unedited, and the door held. Same material family, same build philosophy, on every door we make, including the Kubota line.

Polycarbonate is also lighter than glass, which is easier on hinges and latches over years of slamming. And because our doors are North American made, replacement questions get answered by the people who actually built your door.

What’s in the box

When your Kubota door arrives, here is what you are working with:

  • Your door, CNC-cut from heavy-duty polycarbonate for the exact model you picked at checkout
  • Mounting hardware: hinges, latch, and fasteners for the swing-out kit
  • Weather sealing to close out drafts and dust

Many owners handle the install themselves, but tools, mounting steps, and timing vary by exact model. The supplied hardware and printed instructions are in the box; some kits bolt straight on and others require drilling and bolting. If you hit a snag, call or text (800) 781-8000. Our installation guide covers the general process.

While you have the tools out, this is the easy time to add an electric wiper kit or a cab heater. Both are built to work with our doors, and both make a bigger difference in a Wisconsin December than you might think. Side window panels and LED light bars are available too.

Price, shipping, and warranty

Here is the money picture, all in USD:

  • Swing-out door and enclosure (SVL or SSV): $1595
  • Rollup replacement door: $795
  • Shipping: UPS 3 Day Air, $150 flat, typically 3 business days (not guaranteed)

Every door carries a limited lifetime warranty against door failure or breakage: one free replacement for life for the original owner, under normal conditions. Hardware is covered for 3 months. That warranty exists because we build these doors to outlast the machine.

Compare that to a big-box accessory store cover that flaps itself to death in a season, or an OEM dealer quote for glass that can break again the same way it broke the first time. One door, one price, one replacement promise for life.

Common questions from Kubota owners

My SVL90-2 needs a rollup. Can you help? The rollup replacement listing covers the SVL65 through SVL97-3 models shown above. If you run an SVL90 or SVL90-2, call us before you order and we will confirm the right fit for your cab.

Do the doors scratch? Polycarbonate can scratch if you scrub it dry with grit on the surface. Rinse first, use a soft cloth and mild soap, and it stays clear for years. Skip ammonia glass cleaners.

Is the door in stock? Doors are built to order on our CNC tables. Call or text (800) 781-8000 for current lead time before your season starts. Busy season begins in early September, so summer orders are the smart play.

Find your door in 30 seconds. Pick your machine’s make and model and see the exact door built for it: [Find Your Door]. Questions? Call or text (800) 781-8000, Mon–Fri 7am–4pm CST.
