If you run a Kubota SVL75 with an open cab, we build the door for it. Our Kubota SVL Skid Steer Door is shatterproof polycarbonate, CNC-cut to fit the SVL65, SVL75, SVL90, SVL95 and SVL97, including the -2 updates and the SVL97-3. The swing-out door is $1595. A rollup version is $795. Both come with the supplied hardware and printed instructions and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Shipping is UPS 3 Day Air, $150 flat.
That is the short answer. Here is everything else an SVL owner asks us before ordering.
One door for the whole SVL family
Kubota kept the SVL cab opening consistent across the track loader line, and that works in your favor. The same swing-out door fits:
- SVL65 and SVL65-2
- SVL75 and SVL75-2
- SVL90 and SVL90-2
- SVL95 and SVL95-2
- SVL97, SVL97-2 and SVL97-3
Every door is CNC-cut for the machine it goes on. That is not marketing talk. It means the panel and seal are shaped for the correct fit instead of leaving you to adapt a universal blank. Mounting is model-specific: some kits use existing factory points, while others require drilling and bolting where the included instructions direct.
We were first to market with the shatterproof polycarbonate Lexan door, and we have been building them for Kubota machines long enough to have the fit dialed in. If you want the full rundown on every Kubota door we make, the Kubota skid steer door guide covers the whole lineup.
Swing-out or rollup: pick how you work
We build two door styles for the SVL, and the right one depends on how you spend your day.
| Swing-out door | Rollup door | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $1595 | $795 |
| Fits | SVL65 to SVL97, including SVL90, the -2 updates and the SVL97-3 | SVL65, SVL75, SVL95 and SVL97, including the -2 updates and the SVL97-3 |
| How it opens | Hinged, swings open like a standard cab door | Opens upward and stows out of the way |
| Best for | Full enclosure comfort, winter work, dusty sites | Frequent in-and-out work, warm weather, tight budgets |
| Material | Heavy-duty polycarbonate | Heavy-duty polycarbonate |
The swing-out door gives you the most complete enclosure. Pair it with side window panels and a cab heater and an SVL75 becomes a machine you can run all winter without dreading the seat time.
The Kubota SVL 1/4 Inch Rollup Door suits operators who climb in and out constantly. Fencing crews, landscapers loading trailers, anyone who treats the cab like a revolving door. It keeps debris off you while you work and gets out of your way when you do not want it.
Note the rollup does not list the SVL90. If you run a 90, the swing-out door is your fit. Still on the fence between styles? Our swing-out vs rollup comparison goes deeper on the trade-offs.
Why polycarbonate instead of OEM glass
Three reasons, and they are the same three that matter on any job site.
Safety. Polycarbonate offers protection superior to tempered glass. A branch kicked up by a brush cutter, a rock thrown by the tracks, a chain that lets go: tempered glass turns into a cab full of pellets, and polycarbonate takes the hit. Our owner Leighton smashed a hammer into our 1/2 inch CAT D door on camera, unedited, to prove the point. Same material family, same builder, on your Kubota.
Comfort. An enclosed cab holds its temperature. In January that means the heater actually gets ahead of the cold. In July it keeps dust, chaff and mosquitoes outside where they belong. The door pays for itself in the first cold snap.
Value. A machine with a proper enclosure sells for more than an open-cab twin the day you list it. The door is one of the few upgrades that gives you comfort while you own the machine and money back when you sell it.
And unlike OEM dealers, you are not waiting weeks for a glass door at a glass-door price. We build these, we stock the design, and we ship them fast.
What’s in the box
Your door arrives as a complete kit for the model-specific installation described in the included instructions:
- The CNC-cut polycarbonate door, shaped for the SVL cab opening
- Mounting hardware: hinges, latch and handle hardware, and fasteners
- Weather sealing so the enclosure actually seals
- Everything sized for your machine, so nothing to source at the hardware store
That last point matters more than it sounds. Big-box accessory stores sell universal covers that need trimming, drilling and hoping. This kit was cut for an SVL; follow the model-specific mounting instructions, then go to work.
If your machine has a factory door switch or safety magnet and you are not sure how your setup interacts with an aftermarket door, call us at (800) 781-8000 and we’ll walk you through your machine’s setup.
Installation: follow the instructions for your model
Because the door is CNC-cut for your exact model, the panel arrives shaped for the correct opening and the supplied hardware is in the kit. Mounting steps and required tools vary by model; some kits bolt straight on and others require drilling and bolting. Review the printed instructions before starting at the shop or in the field.
We wrote a full walkthrough in our skid steer door installation guide, and if you hit a snag mid-install, call or text (800) 781-8000. You will get someone who has actually hung one of these doors, Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm CST.
Price, shipping and warranty
Price. The swing-out Kubota SVL door is $1595. The rollup is $795. Both prices are USD, straight from the product page, no call-for-quote games.
Shipping. UPS 3 Day Air, $150 flat, typically 3 business days after the door leaves our shop (not guaranteed). We ship across the US and Canada. Production and installation timing vary by exact model and required mounting steps.
Warranty. Every door carries our limited lifetime warranty against door failure or breakage: one free replacement for life for the original owner, under normal conditions. Hardware is covered for 3 months. That is the strongest promise we know how to make on a door, and we can make it because we build them and we know what they take.
Run an SSV instead?
Kubota’s SSV65 and SSV75 are a different cab from the SVL track loaders, so they take a different door. We build one: the Kubota SSV Skid Steer Door, also $1595, also cut for a precision fit. Do not order an SVL door for an SSV or the other way around. If you are not sure which machine you have, the model plate is inside the cab, or just call us and read us what you see.
Common questions from SVL owners
My SVL75-2 is a different year than my neighbor’s SVL75. Same door? Yes. The swing-out door covers the SVL65 through the SVL97-3, including the -2 updates.
Will the door fog up or scratch like cheap plastic? Polycarbonate is a harder, tougher material than the flexible vinyl on strap-on covers. Treat it like any equipment window: rinse grit off before wiping and it will stay clear for years.
Can I add a wiper or heater later? Yes. Our electric wiper kits and cab heaters are built to pair with the door, and adding them before the first winter is an easy upgrade.
Is the door in stock? Doors are built to order per model. Call or text (800) 781-8000 for current lead time before the fall rush, because once snow season starts, everyone wants a door the same week.
Your SVL works too hard to run with an open cab or a flapping vinyl cover. Put a real door on it.
