Big-box accessory stores are no better. They stock covers and universal panels for the high-volume brands and skip the rest. Mustang owners usually land at the bottom of their list.

Plenty of Mustang owners bought their machine used. The manual is long gone and the previous owner is not answering calls. That is fine. You only need a few details to get the right door.
Run through this checklist before you order:
- Find your model number. Check the data plate and the decals on the machine. Write down exactly what you see.
- Note the badge. Older machines say Mustang. Late models may say Mustang by Manitou, and some machines in the same family carry the Manitou name outright. All of them are in our wheelhouse.
- Check for a factory door. Some Mustangs shipped with a door and some left the factory as open cabs. It changes what you order, so take a look at the front of the cab.
- Take two photos. One of the data plate, one of the cab opening from the front. If anything is unclear, those photos answer most questions in one call.
- Call or text (800) 781-8000. Give us the model number and we will confirm the exact door for your machine before any money changes hands.
That last step matters. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you guess. The doors are CNC-cut per make and model, so getting the model right means the door fits right.

Mustang doors run $1,495 to $1,795 USD depending on the model. Every door in that range is a complete kit made from heavy-duty polycarbonate, the same shatterproof material we prove on camera. Our owner Leighton smashed a hammer into one of our doors on video, unedited, and the door won. That is the material standing between you and whatever the job throws at the cab.
The Mustang 1050R/1050RT door is $1,495 and fits both the 1050R and 1050RT. If your machine carries the Manitou badge instead, the Manitou 1050 door covers the same family from the other side of the fence.

The panel is CNC-cut for your model, but cab-side mounting varies: some kits bolt straight on and others require drilling and bolting.
